Ja’Marr Chase Accuses Kansas City Chiefs Player Of Desiring To Brawl During Fierce Game

The Cincinnati offense was kept in check by the Kansas City defense in the second half, denying them from scoring any points.

Top target Ja’Marr Chase only managed 41 yards on three receptions, while quarterback Jake Browning threw for 197 yards.

Prior to the game, Chase had voiced his skepticism about Kansas City’s secondary, expressing his doubt about the Chiefs having a standout defensive player.

It appears that Sneed took this criticism personally.

A pushing altercation between Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase and Chiefs defensive back L’jarius Sneed almost escalated into a larger brawl during the game.

Following the game, Chase accused Sneed of simply desiring to brawl.

“I don’t know what he was doing… that guy wanted to brawl,” Chase told reporters.

Cincinnati and Kansas City have cultivated one of the most intense rivalries in the NFL in recent years. They contended in the AFC Championship Game in each of the previous two postseasons, with Cincinnati emerging victorious in 2021 and Kansas City seeking revenge in 2022.

However, they will not have the chance to face off this season as the Bengals have been ousted from playoff contention.
