Blues Beat Bruins in Game 7 To Win First Stanley Cup

The St. Louis Blues went to Boston to claim victory over the Bruins 4-1 in Game 7 to win their first Stanley Cup. The Blues recovered from having the worst record in the league in January to winning their first NHL championship.

Ryan O’Reilly was named the MVP of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and he is the first player to score in four straight Stanley Cup Final games. Teammates Alex Pietrangelo, Brayden Schenn and Zach Sanford also scored for the Blues in Game 7. Rookie goaltender Jordan Binnington blocked 32 shots and joined only four other goalies who won a Championship in their rookie season. St. Louis won 30 of their 49 regular-season games.

Congratulations to the Stanley Cup Champions, St. Louis Blues.
