The final showdown of the USBC Masters 2023 took place in Allen Park, Michigan during the early hours of Sunday. Witnessing an intense battle, the first match featured Kyle Sherman (ranked 3) squaring off against Sean Rash (ranked 4). Sherman emerged victorious with a score of 258-199 against Rash, earning him a spot in the semifinals to compete against Michael Martell (ranked 2). Martell, making his debut on a PBA Tour Telecast, showcased his prowess by defeating Sherman with a score of 208-187. Moving into the final, Martell had to face the challenge of beating the returning champion, Anthony Simonsen, twice. In an electrifying finale, Simonsen secured his third USBC Masters victory of his career by outscoring Michael Martell in the title match with a score of 243-222. His remarkable achievement places him among a select few, becoming only the 4th player to achieve consecutive victories in the USBC Masters and the youngest to claim five major victories in the history of PBA.
