Brother of Nikola Jokic Strikes Fan During Nuggets’ Triumph Over Lakers

When it comes to triumphing, the Denver Nuggets are a formidable presence, a reality they demonstrated admirably in their path to clinching the NBA title last season. The squad is guided by the exceptional player Nikola Jokic, who not only excels as a center but also assumes the responsibilities of the primary point guard.

While Jokic shines on the hardwood, his sibling made waves for a different reason in a recent match.

A video went viral, showcasing an incident in the midst of the Nuggets’ exhilarating 101-99 win over the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA playoffs. The Nuggets are now leading the series 2-0 and have emerged victorious in their last 10 encounters with the Lakers, including last year’s Western Conference Finals.

The altercation involving Jokic’s brother was caught on camera at Ball Arena in Denver and swiftly made its rounds on various social media platforms.

Per the New York Post:

“Video footage captured Jokic’s brothers, Strahinja and Nemanja, engaged in a physical altercation with an apparent Lakers supporter in the audience following the Nuggets’ claim of a 2-0 lead in the first-round series.

“TMZ Sports confirmed the incident with onlookers present at Ball Arena.

A TikTok video uploaded on Monday captured the brothers navigating through the crowd to confront a fan in a gray T-shirt, who was promptly struck in the face by Jokic’s elder brother, Strahinja.”

The NBA is investigating the incident, as per sources cited by FanBuzz. The reason behind the altercation remains unclear, but one thing is certain—Jokic’s brother acted decisively.

When it concerns the Lakers and their devotees, it seems the Jokic siblings are unafraid to make a statement. It was Jamal Murray who sealed the deal with the game-winning shot against LA, leaving the Lakers in shock. Similar to the fan in the stands.
