Raptors, Pacers And Clippers All Secure Big Wins

It was a short slate of games for the NBA on Tuesday, but there were still three on the docket. First up, we saw the Toronto Raptors end a three-game losing skid by taking down the Philadelphia 76ers 115-109. Fred VanVleet hit a late ‘dagger’ three-pointer as par of a big 32-point night that overshadowed the 33 that Tyrese Maxey finished with for the Sixers. Joel Embiid did not suit up for the Sixers as they fell to 8-5.

The Indiana Pacers did something this season that no one else has done: they won at Salt Lake City against the Utah Jazz. The Pacers suffered their first home loss of the season, with Malcolm Brogdon leading the way with 30 points. The scuffle that resulted in four players being expelled, including Myles Turner and Rudy Gobert, was perhaps the most notable aspect of the event. Finally, the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Miami Heat 112-109 in the other game of the evening to win their sixth consecutive game. Bam Adebayo had a tremendous double-double with 30 points and 11 rebounds, but Paul George had 27 points and was joined by three other Clippers starters who all had at least 20.
