If you’re a fan of Tiger Woods or just golf in general, you know that the game of golf and sports, in general, is better off with Tiger Woods being actively involved in some capacity. Wednesday was great news because it was announced that Woods would be taking part in the PNC Championship next week along with his son Charlie.

This will be his first competition since competing in the tournament last year, which is accessible to previous major champions and a family member in a team format. While Woods has admitted that he still has a long way to go before returning to a ‘real’ event, this is still a significant step forward following his automobile accident in February. Last year, he and Charlie finished sixth, but you have to believe the stakes will be a lot lower this time.
