Luka Doncic, accompanied by his fellow Slovenians, is making strides towards the upcoming Olympics in Tokyo this summer. The confirmation came on Sunday following a remarkable 96-85 victory over the Lithuanian hosts. In a statement, Doncic expressed that the accolade held less significance for him compared to the joy of his nation. He exuded happiness and pride knowing that Slovenia would be making its debut at the Olympics. Slovenia secures a spot in Group C for the Tokyo Games, one of the three four-team groups at the event. The team will face Argentina on July 26, Japan on July 29, and reigning World Cup champion Spain on August 1. However, with Doncic in the game, nothing is definite. A remarkable journey seems inevitable.
