Rare Loss For Hornets Hands Warriors Victory ,Young Dropped On 40 Bucks

The Golden State Warriors are off to a great start in the NBA. They have only lost once in their previous 12 games coming into Sunday. However, following their matchup with the Charlotte Hornets, they now have two losses to their credit. The 106-102 loss drops their record to 12-2 on the season, despite a fantastic team effort at home. Miles Bridges led the Hornets with 22 points, while Lonzo Ball added 21 and Terry Rozier scored 20.

They also did a great job defensively in the all-around, low-scoring fourth quarter. The Warriors only managed to score 14 in that final period, and that made the difference in the end. Steph Curry finished with 24 points and ten assists in the defeat while Andrew Wiggins led all scorers with 28. In other action, the Atlanta Hawks will hope to have breathed some life- and momentum- into their season following a brilliant performance against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday. Trae Young was impervious in a 120-110 home win, scoring 42 points and dishing out ten assists to get revenge for last season’s Eastern Conference Finals to defeat to the Bucks. Giannis had 26 points to lead the visiting Bucks, who fell to 6-8 with the loss. The Hawks pulled themselves up to 5-9 while ending a six-game losing streak with the result.
