That ended up yielding a one-sided affair in which the Rebels dominated. The SEC representatives ran out to a 26-0 lead at half time and largely coasted in the second as they strolled to a 43-24 victory. Rebels QB Matt Corral threw for 381 yards and a TD on 22-32 passing while wide receiver Dontario Drummond showed out by making nine grabs for 177 yards and a TD of his own. Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin was not on the sidelines for the win, but he would have enjoyed what he saw barring the four ejections for targeting fouls that took place in the contest.
