The primary figure of the Los Angeles Clippers’, Kawhi Leonard, must tackle a rather lengthy journey to return to the NBA. The cause behind this is the statement issued by the team on Tuesday that he had undergone surgery because of a partially torn ACL.
The incident took place during the NBA Playoffs Western Conference semis versus the Utah Jazz, and regrettably, there is currently no schedule for a potential comeback. Regardless of the extent, it is likely to be challenging to witness his return to the court before the year’s end, but advancements in medicine and rehabilitation have progressed significantly, so one cannot predict until the player is once again in competition. Leonard is highly probable, if in good health, to decline his contract at year-end, thus the implications of this circumstance will be intriguing to observe.
