NBA player Jeremy Sochan was involved in a vehicular incident with his Porsche on a Texas interstate last Saturday, according to TMZ. As per the law enforcement report, the collision took place at the junction of I-10 and Loop 1604, where 21-year-old Sochan lost command of his striking green 2019 sports car and veered off the roadway.
The Texas Department of Transportation suggested that excessive speed was probably the cause of the accident, although no charges were filed against him.
The document stated, “[Sochan] reported that he was traveling southbound at that site when he lost control and impacted the left guardrail/bridge.” It added, “Emergency medical assistance was refused. TxDOT was notified about the impairment. [Sochan’s] automobile was the sole one engaged in the occurrence.”

A recording capturing the aftermath of the collision emerged, showing Sochan standing by the roadside adjacent to a police vehicle parked by his green car.
The destruction to Sochan’s $240,000 auto was considerable, but fortunately, he escaped without any injuries and no other cars were caught up in the collision.
Sochan, a Polish-American who was selected in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft, has developed into a key player for the promising young San Antonio Spurs, which also includes the 2023 first overall pick Victor Wembanyama.
During the 2023-24 NBA season, Sochan recorded an average of 11.6 points (43.8% shooting), alongside 6.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in his second year.
