Doncic And Porzingis Lead the Mavericks To An OT Victory While Herro Defeat The Pistons

Tuesday wasn’t the busiest night of the NBA season, but there were still four games to see. As a result, we’ll have lots to talk about. The Dallas Mavericks’ 112-104 overtime victory against the Los Angeles Clippers will be the first game. As expected, their European superstars Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis were instrumental in their victory. Doncic finished with 26 points and was just one rebound and assist shy of a triple-double.

Reggie Jackson had 31 to lead all scorers and Paul George had 26 for the Clippers, but they were outscored 9-1 in the OT period, proving they just “never got going.” Meanwhile, the Miami Heat also got themselves a win on the evening, defeating the Detroit Pistons 100-92 on the road. Having just seen a four-game winning run come to a close, they got their fifth in six outings as Tyler Herro went for 31 points off the bench to help them come from behind late in the contest. The Heat outscored their hosts 33-16 in the final 12 minutes, underlining why they were the victors in the end. The other two games saw the New York Knicks defeat the Los Angeles Lakers 106-100 at MSG despite Russell Westbrook posting a triple-double and the Portland Trail Blazers, led by CJ McCollum’s 32-point display, beat the Denver Nuggets 119-100.
