Cincy Beat USF To Maintain Their Undefeated Record

10-0. After ten games, that’s what the Bearcats of Cincinnati have next to their names. Their most recent outing was a trip to Tampa to face South Florida on Friday night. The Bulls weren’t supposed to be a threat, and they weren’t until they took a surprising lead and then played well in the third to keep it close.

It took Cincy some time to get going, but once they struck they would rack up 31 consecutive points to take a commanding lead that they never relinquished. Desmond Ridder racked up 304 yards in the air and had three total touchdowns (two via the pass, one on the ground) while running back Ryan Montgomery rushed just six times for 72 yards and a pair of TD’s. One of those was a 55-yard scamper with less than a minute-and-a-half to go, icing the game and further solidifying the Bearcats’ case to be included in the College Football Playoff. They’re #5 now, but it looks like they’ll need some help from someone soon.
